Volunteers Needed for Miles Club this Spring!
Hello Edison Families! We are looking for volunteers to help get our Miles Club going during lunch recess. This is a great way for students to engage with their peers while being physically active. If you have any questions regarding the volunteer forms and/or questions about what the Miles Club looks like, you can contact Andy Wilson @ cawilson@wwps.org.
Miles Club is also a great attraction for attendance retention. Ideally, we hope to run Miles Club on Mondays, as that is the most challenging day to get kids to come to school. If this is not possible, we are open to other days per volunteer availability. Miles Club is already listed on the VIP website as a volunteer opportunity where you can sign up. This program cannot run without parent involvement, so we look forward to working with those of you who can make this commitment.
EDISON ELEMENTARY PTA
Our PTA is committed to supporting the students, staff, and families at Edison throughout the school year. We are hosting a variety of events such as the Fall Festival, Parents' Night Out Childcare, and other efforts to support teachers and school staff in their work with our children.
