Walla Walla Public Schools invites families with young children to attend the Kindergarten & Early Learning Fair and Enrollment on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 3:30–6:00 p.m. at the Center for Children & Families, located at 1150 W. Chestnut in Walla Walla.

Dual Immersion application acceptance opens Monday, January 26, 2026. We are currently accepting applications with an early consideration window closing Friday, February 27, 2026. You can submit your application by dropping it off at the district office, email, mail or online. Paper copies will be available at WW Center for Children and Families, Edison, Green Park and the WWPS District office.

Walla Walla Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Ben Gauyan surprised Edison Elementary kindergarten teacher Erika Helm with the district’s prestigious Coin of Excellence Wednesday afternoon during a staff meeting, recognizing her quick thinking and decisive action that helped save a student’s life.
