April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible contributions of our Volunteer in Person (VIP) volunteers. The VIP Volunteer System plays a vital role in connecting dedicated individuals with schools and programs that benefit from their time and talents.
This week and next, Walla Walla Public Schools' 5th graders are making memories under the beautiful skies at YMCA Camp Dudley near White Pass! Students from Prospect Point, Walla Walla Online, and Green Park enjoyed their Outdoor School experience this week, while students from Edison, Berney, and Sharpstein will head to camp early next week.
This spring elementary students across the school district will have an opportunity to compete against each other in soccer thanks to the school district’s levy funds and grant support from the district’s 21st Century Afterschool Program. The co-ed soccer program, for 4th and 5th grade students, begins April 28th and continues through May 29th.
Peachjar’s platform streamlines school-to-home communication by distributing valuable school and community resources directly to families as digital flyers.
